An uber planet is a biome especially adapted to life for one of the major civilizations. They are comparable to Gaia planets, though slightly inferior.
All races with an uber planet can terraform a class D or C biome into their class B uber planet. Except for oceans, uber planets are artificial biomes, that do not exist naturally and must be terraformed through uber transformation by a civilization

Uber planets have the same statistics, with farmable and productive cell factors of 100% and base food per cell of 3.5, except for infernos (sterile worlds with 0% farmable cells and a base food production of 0) and oceans (aquatic species such as Trilarians have special advantages that let them use these worlds as if they were Gaia planets except for base food per cell, however).
