The Tachidi are one of the playable races in Master of Orion 3. They are an "insectoid" species, along with the Klackons. They do not appear in any other title of the series.

Like the Klackons, they are extremely industrious and productive, but they have overcome the limitations of the Hive Mind and now view the universe with insatiable curiosity.
