Ovid was born as a poor miner’s son in the trade hub of Hartis on Gnol. He defied the social order of the Gnolam by striking up deals with aliens to find his own wealth in the galaxy, no longer confined to a life in the same mine day after day. Once he made enough money to set out on his own, he turned his back on Gnol and swore to never return.
