Industrial production is the measure of a planet's ability to construct items for the empire, be they colony structures, colony projects, or ships.
Overview[ | ]
- Every colonist assigned to production produces according to the planet's mineral richness, with additional modifiers from colony structures and traits taken into account. Some colony structures also provide an amount of production that is added to the colony's pool regardless of colonist assignments.
- Industrial production also generates industrial pollution, at roughly one pollution per every five production units (described as percent).
