Amem (The Countess) is a Ship leader in Master of Orion.
Background
Amem was a wealthy Countess of a fertile region of Fieras who inherited her domain and reported directly to the Empress. During a critical battle Amem betrayed her fleet and sabotaged them with bombs, her specialty in combat. It was later discovered that she turned on her own people for access to technology which would grant her functional “immortality,” but that promise turned out to be a lie. She is now an enemy of the Mrrshan Empire, but she is still wealthy and skilled enough to find her own way as a mercenary through the galaxy.
